Renewtek pledges money for the people of Myanmar

Renewtek, an Australian information technology company which specializes in the use of leading edge tools and technologies, is delighted to support Australian Aid International’s (AAI) planned emergency response in Myanmar as a result of Cyclone Nargis. Renewtek’s Chairman Mr Neil Perry, said “Renewtek pledges $5,000 AUD for required medical and health services to the people of Myanmar due to the effect of Cyclone Nargis.”

AAI is an international non-profit, non-government organisation committed to mitigating the double burden of poverty and poor access to quality health care in regions throughout the South East Asia and Pacific region. AAI is on standby to conduct a Rapid Emergency Assessment Response to the recent cyclone in Myanmar and is currently orchestrating a large scale campaign seeking donations for Myanmar. Renewtek is committed to developing expertise in new and emerging technologies through local recruitment and training. Their consultants are experienced professionals with a wealth of industry expertise and know-how in key technical disciplines. They have grown very rapidly to over 95 people in only 3 years and will be shortly opening an office in Ho Chi Minh.

Around the bay in a day

On a cool and sometimes wet Sunday afternoon, 14 brave and fearless riders took part in the annual Around the Bay in a Day Bike ride to raise money for a very worthy cause being L.A.R.C.H, The Leukemia Auxiliary of the Royal Children's Hospital.
