TechieTest™ Validation Process

The TechieTest™ Validation Process is incorporated without additional cost as part of the normal recruitment methodology to identify the most suitable IT people.

All short-listed candidates are required to undertake the TechieTest™ Validation Process.

As a first step, in consultation with our client, we put together a customised test which is designed to test the technical skills required. This assessment is uploaded into our proprietary software which can be accessed in our offices or from anywhere in the world via the Internet.

All short-listed candidates are then typically taken through the following process:

  • TechieTest™ assessment - candidates sit the assessment either on-site or via the web.
  • The results of the TechieTest™ assessment are provided to one of our technical interviewers (an experienced IT professional currently practicing the skill set required).
  • Technical interview - depending on the results of the assessment, the candidate is required to undertake a second face-to-face interview with the technical interviewer who asks a range of technical questions to get a better picture of the breadth and depth of their technical skills.
  • Report - the technical interviewer provides a report to confirm the technical skills of the candidate.

We are fully flexible and the process may be modified to take into account particular circumstances or needs.
