
SLA Pulse Overview
Renewtek has developed a solution for FileNet P8 users. SLA Pulse is an add-on component for FileNet P8 that, when used in conjunction with FileNet’s Process Analyzer, can: assist businesses to monitor service level agreements (SLAs); warn of impending SLA breaches; highlight problem business areas; emphasize opportunities for customer service improvements, and provide improved internal and external reporting data.
Service level monitoring is becoming more and more important in today’s outsourced environments and where internal personnel need to deliver proof of performance to management and customers. An SLA is a binding contract that formally specifies end-user expectation about the service and places obligations upon the service provider to meet those expectations; often with consequences of penalties should the service provider be unable to meet them.

SLA Pulse is a software solution which has been developed as an enhancement to the FileNet Enterprise Content Management solution. It can be used by enterprises to easily define their SLA’s for their processes and monitor the progress of that work in FileNet. Its purpose is to provide a Business Process Developer with the ability to define an SLA for that process. The SLA may then be monitored by the FileNet report facility within Process Analyser.
