Renewtek obtains VERS compliance

Renewtek, have obtained Victorian Electronic Records Strategy (VERS) compliance.

VERS is a framework and set of standards, guidelines and implementations for the capture, management and preservation of electronic records. Renewtek has developed a VERS compliance add-in for IBM's FileNet P8 Records Manager to support the full VERS specification. The module will integrate seamlessly into FileNet Records Manager and provide transparent encapsulation of documents and records in the VERS format, which leads to providing compliance with the standards and guidelines.

Melbourne Spring User Group Meeting
 

On the 7th February Renewtek is hosting the Melbourne Spring User Group at Karstens at CQ. Ben Alex author of Acegi Security will be presenting ‘Web Security Success with Spring Security 2’. Spring Security 2 is the next incarnation of Acegi, fully integrated into the Spring stable. Adam Boas will be presenting on integration of Flex 3 into Spring applications using the newly open sourced BlazeDS.

Light refreshments will be served afterward. Anyone interested in discussing the presentations or other Spring related issues will have a chance to speak to the presenters.

Renewtek expands in Sydney

Renewtek has expanded its operation by recently recruiting a General Manager and two new Directors. Leon Heydenrych, NSW General Manager, comes to Renewtek after several years experience in Marketing and Business Development roles with IT companies. Renewtek has appointed two new Directors to join their Board; Sydney-based Graham Libbesson and Melbourne-based Alan Fischer.
